1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between you ("you", "the client") and Auto Insurance Supports, a trade name of Summit Estimates LLC ("we", "us", "our"), located at 323 Morrow Field Ave, Elmira, NY 14904. By accessing this website, submitting the contact form, requesting a quote, or speaking with a member of our team, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please discontinue use of the website and our services.

2. Nature of our services

Our role is set out below so there is no confusion about who does what:

• Auto Insurance Supports is a trade name of Summit Estimates LLC, an authorized independent insurance retailer;
• we work with selected partner carriers and licensed agencies and may receive commission from them;
• we are not an insurance carrier and do not set premiums, eligibility or claim outcomes; and
• we are not a government office, a motor vehicle department, a law firm or a tax practice.

In practice we gather quotes from the carriers we work with, explain the coverage, limits, deductibles and exclusions, and help you complete an application if you decide to proceed. We do not compare every carrier in the market, only those we have arrangements with.

3. Your relationship with the carrier

Auto Insurance Supports is not an insurance company, carrier or underwriter. Every policy arranged through us is issued by a licensed carrier, and that carrier owns the relationship with you once the policy is in force.

• The carrier sets the premium, the policy wording, eligibility, renewal and cancellation terms.
• The carrier decides every claim. We do not adjust, approve, deny or settle claims.
• Coverage exists only when the carrier accepts the risk and issues a policy. Nothing we say and nothing on this website is a binder or a promise that coverage will be approved.
• Where premium is collected, it is collected by or for the issuing carrier or partner agency, under that carrier's terms.
• We are not a government agency, a motor vehicle department or a licensing authority.

If the policy document and anything described by us ever disagree, the policy document controls. Coverage questions, billing disputes and claim decisions should be raised with the issuing carrier, although we are glad to help you understand the process.

4. Information, not professional advice

Information provided through this website or during a conversation with our team is general in nature. It does not constitute legal, financial, tax or actuarial advice, and no statement by us should be read as a promise that a particular policy is suitable for every part of your situation. Insurance regulations, pricing, availability and policy wording differ by state, insurer and individual circumstance. You should verify all material facts with the insurer and, where appropriate, consult a licensed professional before acting.

5. Your responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate and complete information. Quotes and underwriting decisions rely on it, and an inaccurate answer can change your price or affect a future claim.
• You remain responsible for every decision you make regarding your insurance, including purchasing, declining, changing or cancelling coverage, and for reading the policy the carrier issues to you.
• You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, transmit malicious code, scrape content, or use our services for unlawful purposes.
• Please do not send payment card numbers or banking credentials by email. Where a carrier needs payment details, you provide them to the carrier or through a secure link, never in an ordinary email to us.

6. Communications & consent

By submitting the contact form or calling us, you consent to be contacted by Auto Insurance Supports at the email address and telephone number you provide, for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and preparing your quote. Calls are answered by our own team during published hours. You may withdraw consent and ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing info@autoinsurancesupports.com. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply to any messages you choose to exchange with us.

7. Fees

Our quotes and consultations are free. If you buy a policy through us, we may receive a commission from the issuing carrier or partner agency. This does not increase your premium. Any separate fee for specialized work will be agreed with you in writing before work begins.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, layout, graphics, icons, photography and code, is the property of Auto Insurance Supports or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Reproduction, redistribution or commercial exploitation without prior written permission is prohibited.

9. References to other companies and links

Carrier names, product names and trademarks that may be referenced are the property of their respective owners and are used to identify the coverage being discussed. Aside from the partner carriers and agencies we openly work with, such references do not imply any affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement. If this website links to any external site, we do not control and are not responsible for its content, availability or privacy practices.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

This website and the services we provide are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and freedom from infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or free of errors, that information presented is complete or current, or that any particular outcome, premium, saving or coverage result will be achieved.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Auto Insurance Supports and its owners, officers, employees and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, coverage, claim payment or goodwill arising from or relating to your use of this website or our services, including any decision you make about an insurance policy and anything done or not done by an issuing carrier. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Auto Insurance Supports and its personnel from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or inaccurate information you supplied to us.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when published on this page, and the "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Your continued use of the website or our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law & severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts located in New York shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
